Unabashedly wearing their New York hardcore influences on their sleeves, Rampage channel the energy of Breakdown and Straight Ahead without blatantly lifting riffs or stealing ideas. Unlike many bands influenced by this style, Rampage remembers that speed is one of the most important ingredients to the recipe of good NYHC - breaking from many hardcore trends, "Limit Of Destruction" opens with a drum blast that is as reminiscent of the Crumbsuckers or Ludichrist as less crossover influenced NYHC brothers. This twelve track full length flies by at eighteen minutes, and is a reminder of the old hardcore adage "loud fast rules."
